Bacon-Wrapped Dates

These bacon-wrapped dates are TO DIE FOR, and theyre so easy to make!

With only about 30 minutes total, youre sure to make the most delectable sweet-and-salty appetizer!

What you'll need:

Cast Iron Skillet

Bacon

Pitted Dates

Toothpicks

1/4 c Maple Balsamic Vinegar (or regular balsamic)

3 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

1/2 tsp Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp Water

1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Cut your slices on bacon in half, so they arent as long.

3. Gently wrap and stretch each half slice of bacon around each date, and secure with a toothpick. Make sure the toothpick secures the end of the bacon and goes through the date and through the other side of the bacon.

4. Place each wrapped date in your greased cast iron skillet.

5. Prepare your glaze: In a small bowl, combine your balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, lemon juice and water, and mix.

6. pour your glaze over your wrapped dates.

7. Bake for 12 minutes.

8. After the 12 minutes, flip each wrapped date over, and put back into the oven for about 15 minutes. This is the perfect amount of time in my opinion, but you can adjust it slightly by adding another minute or two, according to your preferred bacon crunchiness.

9. Serve and enjoy!
